Info: High desert terrain with soft sandy washes in places and hard packed riding on marked trails, the area around Jawbone Canyon and Dove Springs are open area but outside those area you must stay on marked trails and roads, upon arriving it is a good idea to pickup a "Friends of Jawbone Map" from the Jawbone Ranger station, which is located about 1/2 miles north of the Jawbone Canyon Store Location: Jawbone Canyon is off highway 14 and about 20 miles north of the Mojave where the 14 and 58 meet before the Red Rock Canyon State Park, The Dove Springs Entrance is 9 Miles north on the 14 from the Jawbone Canyon Store.
